Sebenarnya nampak je muka sedih tapi dia sebenarnya tak sabar nak balik Malaysia |
It’s the final day of our trip, and what better way to wrap things up than a visit to Nami Island? We’d already seen it in winter, when the trees were bare and moody (a different kind of beauty, really), but this time, we wanted the full autumn eyegasm experience. And let me tell you, it delivered. The fiery blend of brown, yellow, and red? Absolutely breathtaking.

Naik banyak train nak get to Nami
|
 |
Finally reached Gapyeong - stesen yang semua orang turun untuk ke Nami
|
 |
Thank you Tyshai and Tymel for temaning Orked |
If you haven’t been to Nami during autumn, seriously, what are you waiting for? Go. Go now. Or book it for next year. But go!
Since it was our last day, we went full-on paparazzi mode. Click-click-click! We didn’t even stop for food this time (gasp, I know!) because we wanted to soak in every moment, every leaf, and, okay, every flattering photo angle we could find.

Orked excited gila nampak Malaysia flag |
By 2 p.m., we reluctantly left the golden beauty of Nami and headed back to Seoul. And guess what? Gosame was calling us. Again. Yes, we caved. I had unfinished business: my sister had to try the grilled mackerel.
GOSAME REPEATTTTTT!!!!
Words couldn’t do it justice; she had to taste it for herself while I watched, triumphantly. Predictably, she loved it. Victory for me.

Singgah 7E kejap beli cigarettes for our friend who sent us and will be picking us up at KLIA. such a great friend he is. |
 |
Our last day walking to Starria hostel. Goodbye hotel room, you've been ever so nice to us |
With bellies full and hearts happy, we trudged back to Starria. The dreaded packing session awaited us, and with an early flight, we were on a strict “pack now, sleep later (or never)” schedule. We finished at 3 a.m., took a blink-and-you-miss-it nap, and were up by 5 a.m. to get ready. At 6:30, we were out the door, rolling our suitcases to the airport bus stop near Myeongdong Station.
 |
The Airport bus was so easy to catch |
The airport process was unusually smooth this time—bless. Oh, and I managed to do my VAT claim for those Samba OGs I bought. A cool 8,000 won in cash right into my pocket. Side note: if you’re shopping in Korea, bring your passport! Most places deduct the tax on the spot, which is genius. Doing it at the airport isn’t bad either, but why not save the hassle?
 |
At Incheon Airport International boarding gate... so thrilled to go home. ugh! |
Once we were on the flight, I gazed out at Seoul one last time, feeling that familiar pang of “I’ll miss you.” I made a mental promise to return—because how could I not?
And then came the highlight of my day. I asked Orked if she enjoyed the trip, and her answer? “It’s okay, but I love Malaysia more because it’s warmer.”
Excuse me? I spent a small fortune for your flight, young lady! But honestly, deep down, I was proud. My six-year-old patriot. Even with all the K-pop, grilled mackerel, and scenic wonders of Korea, her heart belongs to Malaysia. At least she’ll be the one singing Negaraku the loudest on Mondays.
 |
We had a nice Airplane food lunch. Beef steaks and mash taters
|
 |
Orked was awake throughout the flight. Because it was a morning and afternoon flight |
 |
Annyeong Seoul. We'll see you again don't know when. |
So, with Orked's patriotism and my undying love for Seoul
(and its mackerel), we flew back home, watching the clouds drift by. Korea,
we’ll be back. You’re too good to stay away from.
